    Record of Service

    Don Bacon is a retired Air Force Brigadier General and combat veteran. Congressman Bacon entered the Air Force in 1985 through Officer Training School at Lackland AFB, Texas. He completed 16 assignments throughout the world, at home and abroad, including commanding a squadron at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona and an expeditionary squadron in Qatar during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

    Congressman Bacon has earned the Distinguished Service Medal, two Legion of Merits, and two Bronze Stars.
